Introduction

In preparation for a mini-seminar on Spinoza (winter 1978) and for a revised edition of the 1970 Spinoza, Texxtes choisis (Paris: PUF), Deleuze presents a lecture for which the audio recording has been made available at Radio-France, under the title “Spinoza et nous”. We have provided below the lecture’s transcript, in a format that emends the text of the subsequent published article, as well as a translation of this lecture.
